This is different (or "more") than this other bug reported here specific to axes/heavy weapons.

This affects both ATM9 and ATM9NF. It seems to be only happening on dedicated servers, and not local singleplayer instances. Shadow confirmed the issue, and his response implies this bug report is required. My report over there is here

The issue

When reforging some items (beyond axes/heavy items), the preview does not make it to the resulting item. The things I've noticed thusfar

• Pickaxe preview with 5x3 mining incorrectly coming across with regular 1x1 mining
• Pickaxe preview with 3x3 mining correctly coming across with 3x3 mining (this was a surprise)
• Boots with step height 1.25 incorrectly coming across with no step height at all
• I believe I had a lootsplosion sword not correctly include it, but I honestly cannot remember now

Thanks for letting us know. We believe that we have found the source of this issue and it should be fixed in the next version.
