What happened?

CPU is spiking every few seconds increasing the cpu temperature as well from 55 to 68 nonstop, also while doing nothing on a completly new world

This should probably be closed due to likely not being a bug with the ATM9 modpack or any mods in it but rather a feature inherent to java

Does this coincide with JVM garbage collection? Use JVM/java launch arguments to tune your garbage collector to smooth out spikes in resource usage (search engine is your friend)
