What happened?

I get a duplication whilst crafting essences from Mystical Argiculture inside a Refined Storage System while having a full inventory and using a external storage cable to have a backpack as a prioritized storage from Sophisticated Backpacks as deep storage.

I'm using a creative energy cube here, any power provider will suffice. There is a singular 1k storage disk inside the drive, emtpy.

next i set up the backpack with reserved slots for inferium and prudentium essence like this

Then i prepare the crafting recipe for prudentium essence while having a 'full' inventory (Any item will suffice except the crafting result).

Next I shiftclick with the left mousebutton the recipe result inside the storage system until I run out of inferium.

Expected result: I craft 512 prudentium essence out of 2048 inferium essence

Result I get: i get about 1900 prudentium essence

This can be done up to insanium.
