What happened?

-A dupe/bug that allows me to EASILY duplicate most blocks that can be placed on the ground
-Discovered by accident
steps on how I discovered it:
Using the unique "Ivy" spell book (shown in video) from the mod "Ars Nouveau" found in a dungeon, I used it on a grass block to see what it does, and It summoned an entity that used the grass block as it's body.
I didn't need him anymore, so I killed him with my axe (second axe in video), but instead of dropping 1 grass block as intended (from later tests I did using other weapons), it dropped 2.
I tried to recreate it on another world using an axe that has identical enchantments and gems (first axe in video), but it seems the dupe only works on the unique god-forged axe.

I believe it may have something to do with the affix "55% chance to hit 6 other enemies" as the dupe doesnt work consistently (works maybe 50-80% of the time), however it is reliable in that if it doesn't work, it can be done again
