What happened?

Me and a few friends have had a server for a while - however now at random points in time it seems when I get hit or hit something it will immediatly crash the server. My gear is pretty OP since it's something I focused on for the boss battles etc. but I wouldn't expect it to crash the server as much as it does.

I'm just going through the log myself (i've been ill, so looking at it hasn't made much sense to me!) but is it stating one singular Wither Skeleten caused the server to crash?

So after a bit of testing - I feel this might be the curse of bones enchant

I put normal unobtaininum gear on and I was fine, switched to my normal helmet no issues, switched to my chestplate and within seconds it had crashed the server.

I removed the enchants, and put them back on without curse of bones and still.. seems to be absolutely fine... I'll do more testing and report back :)

Got the same problem. I was fighting those Skeletons with 80 health on pirate ships and the whole server crashed. I had Thorns on my armor, apparently that was the issue. We need a fix, Thorns is one of the best enchant.

The problem with "Curse of Bones" only occurs if Quark is installed (it's related to entity Goals and will also happen with Thorns enchantment as OlickQC mentioned).

Hello! Thank you for this comment. I thought I was going mad for ages!

Is there a fix for this? I've been having with Quark stating it isn't working when I sometimes load the game - I don't even know what this mod is or how to potentially remove it from the server.... Guess I'll look into it!

@xFiZzoo My recently published version 8.9.0 should avoid this problem (for Bone Shield, not for Thorns) as the reflected damages are done a little later. Let me know if it works as expected as i didn't specially change it for Quark ;)
