Pipez Item pipe can insert any items into AE2 Wireless Access Point

By connecting an item pipe from Pipez to the AE2 Wireless Access Point you can insert any Item into the Upgrade slot of the Access Point.
We were wondering why there was so much power usage and realized that there were a stack of wood in the upgrade slot of the Access Point which led to more range and power usage just like a stack of normal Upgrades.
