I tried to connect power pipes and conduits and they are not connecting to hyperbox. Any ideas what to do or what to change in config ?

Experiencing the same thing in 2.31. I have tried several options. I put a netherite barrel with a hopper upgrade set to pull on top outside of the box and then went in and tried to connect an inventory inside with pipes. No combination of breaking and trying different patterns worked.

Update: apparently my world is corrupt. Somehow. I did this setup in a new blank world and it worked perfectly.
