Running ATM9 2.11 @ Windows 2022 @ 20Gb memory / 1TB nVME storage
Just found out about it, created a portal, but once entered the map did not load. Its was like a skybox, however i could walk around.
Set a stopwatch, its takes about 45 - 69 seconds to load 1 chunk. However, it does not crash. Its unplayable.
A few minutes later, world timeout with a kick
[Server thread/WARN] [minecraft/MinecraftServer]: Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 48349ms or 966 ticks behind
Is it possible that this is the same issue? #376

I find a sollution for this probleme i use a chunk loader and put at the limite of the map each time. Sorry for english is bad.
I'm having the same issue. Blocks inside the chunk can be mined. Also, if you place a block down, the whole chunk will immediately be visible. I'm pretty sure the chunk itself is loaded, but not the texture, or some state didn't update.
I had attempted to use a pre generation mod in the everdawn, over 12 hours later it hasnt caused done a damn thing. I have tested this with other mod dimensions as well as the vanilla dimensions.
Same issue here. I had other players complaining that chunks do generate but VERY slowly. It takes about 30 to 45 seconds to generate 1 chunk.
The console messages say the server is skipping ticks when generating them.
Chunk gen in other dimensions like the twilight forest or undergarden is normal, its just blue skies dims that are affected.
Problem is experienced by multiple players at once whenever they enter the everbright or everdawn dims.
By the looks of it, it appears the main server thread is overloaded and chunk processing is heavily affected by how busy the server is.
The server version I'm using is 0.2.31.
If needed, I can provide performance profiles.
