When i change to fullscreen the display changes to have only half the screen visible

You're going to need to provide a lot more information than that. Firstly, what version of the mod and Minecraft? Which machine? Are you playing a modpack? Do you have screenshots to share to illustrate your issue? Without more info, I will have to close this. Thanks!
