When applying a Lore Tag to a Glitch Infused sword, the lore doesn't display.

Applied lore tag should read: Get it out, get it out, get it out
This tag didn't apply.

In a second attempt, a tag was applied with:
GET IT OUT OF MY INVENTORY!!!1!!2!!

Both of these are less than the 48 character limit stated by dark utils.

This may also be my fault for putting a silly amount of enchantments on a Glitch Sword, example below:

Please excuse my attempt to max out the enchantment list. It was "for bug testing".

Could you try testing with less enchants to see if it works?

Confirmed with a fresh. undamaged glitch sword and the tag "I'm just a glitch". Lore tags don't visually apply to the glitch infused sword.
