Issue with flipping mouse controls

I just started watching the youtube series - and downloaded the pack.
I like to play with controls on the mouse reversed, 'attack/destroy' on the right-click and 'use/place' on left. If I set the controls this way I cannot place any blocks at all.
Vs. 3.0 of the pack.
played on win10.
