Extruder and casting mold take wrought iron, but when recycled using the arc furnace or macerator, recycle into steel or steel dust respectively. This probably cant be abused to skip progression since you cant smelt steel dust until you have an EBF already, and an arc furnace is also locked behind already having steel, but could in theory be used to craft steel by just making wrought iron, making molds, and recycling them in an arc furnace to make steel, skipping the EBF being used to make steel
