This should be reopened still an issue. I updated to 3.0.6 and even deleted my DIM-1 and reloaded the nether. Still same issue

Also having the same issue. Started the world on 3.0.5, but didn't even create the nether portal until 3.0.6. Dense Nether ore blocks break instantly and drop nothing. Using a diamond/platinum/emerald Silent Gear pickaxe, fwiw. I thought maybe they had a higher harvest level in the Nether, but I couldn't find any relevant setting in the configs. But there are a few various ore-related configs, so maybe I missed it.

Pack is still super fun though, and there's plenty of ore elsewhere. But I just can't help but want that shiny, dense Nether ore when I see it!

I'm seeing this issue on a fresh 3.0.6 pack install. New world and all.

EDIT: Looks like OreSpawn mod is still being retrieved on fresh 3.0.6 installs. I went and downloaded the zip and MMD OreSpawn still shows up in the modlist.html file.

EDIT: OreSpawn is also in the server zip for 3.0.6.
