Context

When playing on xxx’s Crackpack 3 server, the server suffers from frequent TPS lag that usually requires a restart. From the last time this happened, there were 10 dimensions loaded. I’m hoping that, by having this mod added to the pack, these TPS issues will go away.

Based on Unnoen/Unloader#5, I’m not convinced this will help.

If the dimensions are loaded then it’s likely people have deliberately loaded them. Encourage better discipline or make changes to the configs to prevent this happening on large servers.

I feel the need to mention that the Unloader bug above can be worked around by adding just one blacklist entry (no more and no less), like the Overworld.

Additionally, many mods like Extra Utils will try to load their dimensions regardless, Unloader would help a great deal. All the mod does is unload dimensions if they have zero chunks loaded. I cannot think of a situation where people deliberately load dimensions but no chunks.
