[Bug Report]: Failed to join LAN game

Describe your issue.

My friend was trying to join my LAN game and she just kept being disconnected. We are both running version 1.9.0 of the modpack and also use version 21.1.79 of NeoForge.
There were no changes to the installs at all. We installed it through the CurseForge installer.
Network wise we are on the same network.
The screen mentioned issues with the Elevator mod channel.

This is an old thread but just to let you know this is fairly common with modded minecraft i had the same thing on this pack. You just have to join through local IP address. Open CMD and type "ipconfig". There you will find ipv4 local IP address, give that to the other player, along with the port the game says in chat
