Tesla stuff was a mistake

Describe your suggestion

I had highly advanced upgrade on autocraft in an array, now I can't do it anymore because circuit + aluminum cable = tesla winding.

Why would you like this added/changed?

What was the point of this change? Now I have to use an infinitely slower normal assembler to create this stuff, or waste even more space for 1 craft. You're not allowed to lock crafts in an array either.

This sounds, maybe, like your update has gone wrong; but also I'm confused.

Highly advanced upgrades are the same recipe as before:

And all Tesla windings are a cable + a plate:

Have you modified your instance at all? Which is fine if so, but could possibly be relevant in this case.

Also, you should be able to slot lock processing arrays as normal, to therefore lock a recipe in them.

You can lock slots in machines as SubordinalBlue pointed out, and this includes hatches on your multiblocks.

Now, if you're using AE2 to do on-demand crafts, this may be a valid problem to run into. But the recipes weren't designed for use of on-demand. Many other recipes clash slightly like this, because MI has slot locking as a core feature. Use slot locking, where you can.

What you CAN do (if what I said above is the actual situation), is slot lock each slot in the output hatch to the product of each pattern you have setup. If you don't allow space for tesla windings, they wont be produced, but every other pattern you have setup will be produced. Obviously, if the pattern is setup to produce more than a stack of said item, slot lock two slots.

It also happens to annealed copper cables as well. I'm guessing all MI cables in general. This update is just awful in general, and I just want to drop the pack.
