does it work in single player? in a new world?

I am dealing with the exact same issue, both in single player and multiplayer servers. Have tried resetting all binds and only having movement binded to each key and nothing else, still no luck. Looking for a solution :(

its the blindness effect you spawn in with, die and it should go away

I had this issue as well, i believe it was after I picked up the invisible relic/artifact/trinket with the 'side effects'. Had blindness IV, killing myself resolved it.

Just to add to this, downgrading the Forgiving Void mod to version 21.1.2 also fixes this issue

This is fixed now in latest forgiving void btw, apparently nobody bothered to report the issue to them until just a couple days ago
