the Storage Controller from sophisticated storage connects sophisticated storage blocks (barrels and chests) that are touching it (And those that are connected through other sophisticated storage chests/barrels)
If you were trying to wirelessly connect, the Storage Link can connect separated storage groups to the controller.
so if you have a rack of soph storage chests, you can put a storage link on one of the chests in that connected chest wall and then link the storage link to the controller with the storage tool. the chests would then be connected through the storage link to the controller.
