it lags bad with the looter chests and barrels to the point it takes like a minute to open it then it desyncs the items back into the looters making me have to open it a second time

sorry for the late response. unfortunately, the spark profile that was provided didnt actually cover the time when you opened the things. I expect that this is an issue with looking up structures. Please check that it still occurs on 1.23.0, and if so, we can try a different approach:

disable c2me
load into the game
start a spark profiler
wait 30 seconds
open a chest
when it recovers, wait another 30 seconds
stop the spark profiler
post the new spark link that it gives you after the profiler stops

Been getting random bouts of server lag and not sure if this is related but i'll post this anyways.

Posted did not respond with additional information after almost 3 weeks. additional users trying to use this issue as their own. i will close this one to prevent confusion.

(and original issue was reported in june. at the time i did not see anything that stood out as a cause)

every single one in this structure is delayed

i think every modded chest is laggy

in the chests, is it generating a map item (even a blank one)?

additionally, can you:
run /spark profiler start --thread *
open the chest
when it recovers from the lag, run /spark profiler stop
post the link to the profile it provides you

4 different inventories opend up and only one had a map
