[Bug Report]: Creative search not working

Issue in 1.21.3 and in 1.21.2.
When in creative mode, then open inventory, search option does not return any results,

Sure you waited for all TMRV and EMI magic to finish?
Seems to work fine for me:
Single player survival mode. Used gamemode command to switch to creative. I waited a very long time, and still no results.
Additional information>Single Player mode.
- When starting the world in Survival mode, then using the /gamemode command to switch to creative, this problem exists (for me).
- When starting the world in Creative mode, creative search works, and when /gamemode switching to survival and then back to creative, it still works.
Whether Creative searching works seems to be dependent on your gamemode status when you start your world.
As long as I change to creative as I am exiting my game, then (next time I start the world) searching in Survival AND Creative both will work.
Any way to enable Creative searching w/o having to start this way?
