Spawners ignoring light levels [BUG]

  • World Type multiplayer
  • RAM Allocation 10GB

Describe the bug
When encountering spawners in dungeons/other generated structures, lighting the room does not prevent mobs from spawning. I noticed this with behemoths from Lycanites Mobs but it also happens with other mob spawners.

To Reproduce

  1. Find a mob spawner
  2. Light everywhere around it and on it
  3. Mob still spawns

Expected behavior
I would expect the mobs not to spawn however I am not sure if this is an intended feature, as I searched a while and didn't found any mention of it.

Not sure why this is happening, but spawners are at least destructible again in 2.8.7!
