Why you think it might be beneficial to Craft to Exile

  • Random Village Names: Assigns every village a randomly generated name and, upon entering, displays an “Entering ___” banner. Would fit well in CtE seeing that Towers already get their own names. Also, it would emphasize the significance of finding or returning to a village.
  • Desolation: Adds a really cool new biome with new mobs and resources. I know CtE already has plenty of biomes, but this one is unique and would be really cool to explore.
  • No Poles: Prevents players from the repeated placement of blocks underneath them that form vertical poles. Certain blocks can be whitelisted. This would help preserve the beauty of CtE worlds as players would usually be required to make proper staircases for once. Also improves immersion (such block placement is unrealistic).
  • Out Of Sight: Prevents tile-entities from rendering if they are farther than a configurable distance. This could benefit CtE as much as it could benefit any pack. All these players making huge bunkers of chests heavily kills frame rate, and honestly, if the chests are that far away, there’s no point in seeing them (especially if they’re behind a wall). Same thing goes for massive Immersive and Create factories.

No to these, out of sight seems useful but as with any mod like this it can be a bit hacky and I don't want to cause more issues.

Biomes we already have a lot of and I'd rather not dilute the current pool further.
