In older versions of this modpack it's easy to admit that game was too easy. So my friends and I decided to try newer version. After my old ver experience on Fire Mage build with clearly 3k dmg fireballs on lvl 30 I saw that terrible nerf. 120 Dmg from single spell and terrible DoT. Also, in fire mastery tree all area buffs such as Lifesteal aura don't work on any allies.

I think that mages in any builds needs buffs. Any magical build deal 0 damage in comparison with melee or archer. Many spells does scale from PhysDmg, but default right click range spells are just bad in damage dealing. I've tried all mages build and none of them is better than range-archer or melee. I think, that best solution is introducing new stat like flat magical power that increases spell damage cuz all of stats in the game has their percentage scaling and flat scaling.

thanks for feedback, just need some more points of comparison if you don't mind. are any of your friends going melee/ranged? do you have example numbers for how much damage they do and just a brief outline of their and your build by any chance? Would help tremendously. thanks!
