Infinite knives or other single stack items

My repro:

Crafted 32 flint knives
Placed a Drawer, filled with knives
Placed Drawer on top of Chute on top of Deployer
Right clicked Deployer, got stack of 16 knives
Right clicked Drawer, knives went into drawer
Number of knives in Chute seems to increase without bound; breaking the Chute instantly crashes the game
