While trying to create lava with the extractor it seems to do nothing, compared to extracting resin. I tried it with the overworld, the nether, natural hellbark trees, and placed blocks to resemble a tree, and yet no lava.

this is the setup, (trees grown at the back) hopefully this helps and its not my user error

Sorry user error, this tree has to grow as its alternative which is a taller version then it works fine
