I've been trying to mess around with the hephaestus forge to make some enchantments and have some fun, but whenever I try to get blood into test tubes it doesn't work. I've tried holding them in my offhand, having them on my hotbar, in my inventory, none of them have worked and I haven't been able to find any other way of how to do it. and yes I've been using the mystical dagger to kill the things too.

Edit: I feel I should mention that I'm in multiplayer playing with friends. don't care about leveling up the forge because I know that can cause problems, just want to get Thorns III a fun way but can't get the blood for it

Edit 2: or it just straight up crashes the game/the server.

Edit 3: I have discovered that there is a way to get blood, if you kill an animal in the hepheastus forge area with the mystical dagger, the blood goes directly into the forge without crashing the game :)
