having an issue with the shaders affecting how the windmill in create is rendered. it turns invisible. i turn the shaders off it works. but obviously there is no fun in basic MC when there is pretty stuff about.

You seemed to be using Iris-Flywheel Compat, this will cause problems if the shader is not specially supported by the mod.
You can try /flywheel backend off and see if the problem disappeared.
