Suggestion to add the BetterF3 mod due to it being highly customizable and it giving a better experience for people that use the F3 menu.

I myself saw a 15% FPS drop when a F3 menu is opened, and it impacts FPS especially hard when the opening animation is being played, so this is overall more laggy than Vanilla one.
But being able to customize F3 menu is indeed appealing, so I would like this to be added, and I would also suggest (to devs that want to add this) disabling opening-animation and text-shadow to reduce PFS hit.

Can you measure the FPS before and after using BetterF3? I remember that there are people saying BetterF3 will severely impact FPS under certain conditions.

From my experience I see no difference in fps, monitoring with F3 menu and external tool (msi afterburner) with very basic testing of running around same areas with BetterF3 and disabling it via settings in-game. But this is not indicative that it couldn't have an effect in some cases or different setups.

I am not a fan of betterf3, my familiarity and the vast majority of people are still familiar with the how it is in vanilla, I feel like this should be an optional mod people should be free to install, similar to worldgen mods etc.
