Why is the map Mod used journey map and not Xaeros Minimap?

We used to use Xaero's. Personally I prefer it too. However, the only claims mod Xaero supports is his own and since we ship with the ftb utilities suite (e.g. FTB Chunks) and journey supports that, we changed to journey. Nothing stops you from using xaeros if you want, it's compatible etc., but the decision to switch to journey was made for the better experience with claiming etc.
