I was trying to make iron plates to progress in the mod pack and make the desh rocket, I looked at the recipe and it said to press iron in a heated basin, when I tried to do that it produced cast iron instead. I don't know if I was doing something wrong, if it was a bug, or if it was because I was using the blaze burner with a straw and lava.

So I have realized that I just read the recipe wrong and used the wrong ingredient
