Tried using casting basin and table to fill with skyslime, water, and lava. Right-clicking the faucet does nothing. REI shows that I should be able to fill it up using either of these methods and any type of liquid.

This could very well be caused by Hephaestus just not having implemented that feature. If so we can't do anything about this because the 1.18.2 version of Hephaestus isn't supported anymore.
