Chapter 3 is not unlocked when traveling to the moon and some achievements in FTB quests for items cannot be completed.

Can you be a bit more specific?

Going through a moon portal in 2.1.4 (unreleased) does indeed complete the quest and I've never heard anyone else having this issue in 2.1.3 - are you sure you've completed all three dependencies for the chapter unlock quest?

This issue seems to be stale and I cannot reproduce the bug in the latest version, closing as can't repro.
