Unable to install Crucial2 from the curseforge launcher. Windows Defender says threats found.

Overwolf have fixed the false positive result from Windows Defender and Crucial2 modpack installs fine now without any issues from the curseforge launcher.

Just an update. Well that trojan made my computer unusable and I had to reinstall windows 10 last night.

Can anyone else reproduce this?

This issue has been going around curseforge for a while now. They initially said its false positives, but I don't know anymore as even mods are getting hit

Curse Forge said As this is a false positive and it should be fixed by now, please follow the Windows Defender guide on how to update your Windows Defender app. The pack installed as soon as they fixed it but pc was already infected with the virus. You cannot reproduce this if curse forge has fixed it.

I have experienced this issue as well (and have therein reproduced it).
Not 15 minutes ago I tried installing it through CurseForge, and every time it would fail, saying Could not read C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\CF\Pcaeuj2Q5km2pppNu2Dg\4.zip as a zip file
I tried downloading the zip on the website and the download would automatically cancel, saying: Failed - Virus detected

I've heard people say it installs fine through MultiMC or GDLauncher though.

tried installing the newest update through GDLauncher and CurseForge recently and had the same issue on both launchers. had to disable windows defender temporarily until it installed
