Unintended Progression Skip?

Access to the crucible is merely gated behind wood to get the requisite clay. Filling it with sand produces lava and in this way access to gravel is trivial as you can make a cobblestone generator and the entire progression of using other stone pebbles to make aggregate and the Drying Cupboard is no longer needed. I'm not certain if this constitutes as unintended or if it's just a minor alternate route.

In next release, the unfired crucible will require 6 porcelain clay balls and a piece of grout to make it, therefore making the progression a bit more strict and in keeping with the storyline.
