Judging from how the quest book is broken up, getting to the cuboid overworld is supposed to be the "final" quest.
I'm sure you are aware but with the ex Nihilo mod, you can use witchwater to turn skeletons into wither skeletons and get skulls. This allows you to bypass going to the end/nether and go straight to the Cuboid Overworld.

I don't know if there is a way to change the config to remove the witchwater mob conversion.

I'd also like to see the ability to craft a name tag to get the luckiest modifier for tinkers tools without finding/trading with a villager (that you can only do after you get to the cuboid overworld) as zombie villagers don't seem to spawn in the cuboid world. I enjoyed my time in the pack but being able to bypass half the pack was kind of a let down. I was also shocked with all the singularities you added, you didnt add nether quartz or soul sand. It was also weird seeing the ME controller/smart cables when you have channels disabled on AE and seeing the one probe/cables freak out and say 0/8 channels used when connecting more devices to the line (and they all work)

I don't think soul sand and nether quartz singularities are needed - not everything has to be immediately infinite. Both soul sand and nether quartz are easy enough to come by I reckon.

I specifically left in smart cables so Peuple who don't know AE2 can understand a bit how they work (as mentioned in the appendix).

I really appreciate you telling me about the cheesability as it is obviously not intended... So while I get you're kinda let down by finding a loophole... this is still a beta, and you did it to yourself ;)

Firstly, apologies if the 'fixed' label means I'm not meant to comment on the issue. Secondly, I have used the witchwater 'exploit' but have still not gone to the end yet or anywhere else. The rate of wither skeleton drops is/was not great ie I've played about 100hrs and have about 100 skulls - the mob farm running a great deal of that time. I never intend to cheese a pack because I keep thinking I've got lots to do to prepare. Either way if it's a config change I'll probably change it back so that my mob farm isn't broken - I would appreciated if you could let me know.

There isn't a config option (that I could find) to stop witchwater mob conversion. The change that was made to "Fix" the exploit is the dirt singularity was changed with a blaze lantern and the recipe removed. They are only found in the obsidian spires in the nether that are usually protected with a blaze spawner.
