Hammers of Thatldu?

I think the part of hammering andesite, granite and diorite is too annoying, if the maths don't fail me, you have to put 40 stacks of each on the floor (I get ~9 pieces in each stack of granite), hammer them down, and then wait eternally for the auto-sieve or do it yourself (but it's a waste of resources, since normally is only used in early game). Not much fun. And also because doing this generates hunger, so is another task you need to do. Although yes, I know that this is to do the quantum singularities of all, and that is not needed.
Describe the solution you'd like
I was thinking if the hammer could be done of thatldu they could be more durable and that way does not have to build that many, since the compressed hammer doesn't seem to be that good. Or maybe, and this would be super helpful, let us use the hammer from the crafting table. You are smashing rocks, so it doesn't matter if you do it on top of a table, and also, inside your inventory could be thought as putting it on the floor and smashed. But is super annoying to be doing all those steps. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the hammer?
Also, having the auto sifter from ex nihilo creatio could be cool, although it hasn't been ported to 1.16. But I think that's faster than the auto-sieve, which tbh I don't know if there is someway to speed it up.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I was thinking that maybe the idea of the mod is wait until you get the pulverizer or crusher again, and get the singularities at that moment.
I agree that the sieving portion was not much fun. One possible suggestion I have is to replace the quest to make an auto-sieve with an auto-hammer instead. Sieving can be done much faster manually with a 3x3 sieve array, but having to crush stacks and stacks (and more stacks) of different kinds of stone manually is quite annoying. At that stage you only have the one pulverizer to sacrifice, and if you want to follow the quest line, you HAVE to use it to make an auto-sieve, even if you won't use it until much later, because it is so slow.
Okay, just discovered a trick to do it much faster, stone wand. It just came to my mind, but I think is better to put a hint in some quest. Because now I have to do it again all again with Diorite and Granite, I left playing it because of this ... beautiful, and not at all, grindy section...
Although now that I think... it only saves me the time to put the blocks on the floor... the part of hammering them down and hunger problems are still there...
Nah, after trying the stone wand it breaks too fast, so now I would need many hammers and stone wands, or make iron as fast as possible to check if iron wands are much better. Thinking all this is what tires me.
Also, when I'm sievering, and I finish with a stack, the next stack doesn't come to my slot in the action bar, and I need to start moving the wheel to select another slot or search if I have more in the inventory.
Almost finished, I had to be doing stuff of create and use the slow auto sieve working, but I was getting crazy. Seems it took me 4h to do the granite and diorite, while I was doing the create mechanics which I never worked with, and I didn't know how to reduce the speed, and always forgot big -> small = reduce speed.
Stone wand and apple cider, and after doing the deep lake, cactus soup helped me a lot, maybe they could be added as tips?
Hi. Thanks for taking the time to write out your suggestion.
However, I don't think I'll be changing it. Yes, there is a bit of grind involved here and there, but in the greater scheme of things (especially compared to other modpacks) it's really not that much of an issue since as soon as you get singularities for the majority of the resources, you don't need to worry so much anymore.
One other option would have been to use your first bunch of tin and copper with any left-over gold ingots and made more pulverizers to then be able to make more auto hammers / sieves (or even use the pulverizer to do some of the crushing). Anyway - sounds like you're past that bit now, so hopefully no longer a problem.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts though!
