Powah ender cell loses connection to cable on world load

Modpack Version:
1.0.5
Describe the bug
I have a spirited ender cell from Powah sitting on an ultimate energy cable from Mekanism. This works just fine, the energy cell charges from the energy cable without a hitch. Except... Whenever I load the game, the ender cell no longer draws power from the cable, and therefore slowly drains (there are machines running off it with ender gates, as well as a player transmitter sitting on top of it). If I simply break the ender cell and put it down again in the exact same location, it works just fine again.
I do not know if the issue is with the modpack, with Powah, with Mekanism, or with the specific combination of the two.
To Reproduce
(This is guesswork on my part, as I haven't tried starting a new world and working my way up to being able to do this again)
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Attach a Mekanism cable to a power generator
- Attach a Powah ender cell to the Mekanism cable.
- Verify that the ender cell is receiving power from the cable.
- Shut down the game.
- Restart the game.
- Verify that the ender cell is no longer receiving power.
- Break and replace the ender cell.
- Verify that the ender cell is receiving power again.
Expected behavior
I expected the ender cell to continue receiving power from the cable after a world load.
Screenshots
I have added a screenshot showing the placement of the ender cell.
I suspect it's related to this Mekanism bug, which has been around a while now but the Mekanism team have still not quite go to the bottom of it...
I've subscribed to that issue so when a fix is released I will look at updating the pack to include it.

Hmm, that particular issue, while relating to Mekanism power cables, sounds quite different I think. For one thing, that issue seems to require a world load to fix, rather than a world load to occur.
If you read through all the responses on that issue, you'll see it relates to chunk loading and unloading, losing the internal network state, etc. and that it's proving to be intermittent. So while some of the first reports were about it being fixed on load, a bit further down it's a bit of everything. Have you tried swapping out for Powah cables?

Nope, but let me give it a go, and I'll report back.
Can confirm: If you put the ender cell on Powah cables, the issue seems to disappear. So you are probably right that it's the same issue, or at least that Mekanism is to blame.
Haven't had any other problems with the Mekanism cables though. Also, the cable doesn't disconnect from the ender cell visually or lose power as described in the Mekanism issue. The cable has power, and appears to be connected to the ender cell. There's just no transfer taking place from one to the other without breaking the cell and replacing it.
