I have been looking for 3+ hours for Thornvines in my survival world and could still not find any.
After 3+ hours of looking, I hopped to a creative world and went around the nether for around 10 minutes to look again for Thornvines and still can not find any.

Is this a possible bug that needs to be changed?

I can not do the "Don't get caught in the spikes" quest
