Description:
Title. I obtained a red heart canister in a chest? (it's been a while, not 100% certain of the source) which had the ability to store NBT tags (no tags in it however) and I then received another red heart canister through the quest book (Plasma Fire #939 in chapter 5) which DOES NOT have the ability to store NBT data; as such they do not stack.

I ended up enabling cheat and giving me another one without NBT so that I can stack them, deleting the one with NBT capabilities. (I'm not certain if the canisters should or should not have NBT, but ¯\(ツ)/¯).

Steps to reproduce:

1. Obtain a heart canister from a chest?
2. Claim the heart canister reward in chapter 5 Plasma Fire.
3. Canisters will not stack.

Expected behavior:
Canisters should stack.

Additional context:
Like I said in the description, it's been a while and I'm not sure WHERE exactly I obtained the first one with NBT tags capabilities. Can they rarely spawn in chests?

I'm trying to make all obtainable Heart Canisters have no NBT data. The ones you craft and the ones you get from quest rewards no longer have any NBT. It would be crucial to know where you got the one that had an empty NBT tag from, so I can change it there.

Maybe add a recipe that converts Heart Canister to itself as a fix for existing ones that were given before the fix?

Excellent idea on adding a recipe to remove the NBT data, this could help temporarily while you're narrowing down which sources still have NBT.

And I'm sorry, I did a booboo... I checked my old 2.4.0 instance and I earned the canister with NBT in that instance... If you've removed the NBT from the possible spawns afterwards then this is very probably fixed. In terms of WHERE I found it... It was either while exploring overworld structures or when I was exploring a nether fortress, real sorry I can't help pinpoint more. I have an absolutely terrible memory.

The issue might be fixed, but there's still some Heart Containers with NBT Tags left if someone claimed them from quests on old versions

The recipe has already been added to remove the NBT tags

There is now a hidden recipe to remove the NBT tag, which fixes the issue.
