Describe the request

The recipe for the Copy-Paste Gadget is way too expensive The previous gadget you can unlock in chapter 13, however, the Copy-Paste gadget is locked behind an insane amount of progression, in chapter 18. Not to mention the other recipes in this mod, which require Dragonstone from Botania.
But then u also look at the recipe to craft the containers that u use to collect items for building, which further demotivates you.

Reasons why this should be changed

Building gadgets mod is nothing more than a quality of life mod, and as such, they shouldn't be gated behind insane amounts of progression.
Once someone reaches chapter 13 where automation happens, one would look for a base to build, or something to steal and copy-paste as a base.
Would become much easier to copy-paste, build and exchange thousands of blocks when it comes to base building, further motivating the player to progress. Of course, one would still need to get all the materials needed, craft the gadgets, find a space for it, paste and undo if made a mistake, and so on.
Makes building very enjoyable. One could build a shape, form a structure, exchange the blocks until u find something that looks nice, then copy-paste it onto your base then fill it with machines or whatever u desire.
These are beyond essential tools for base building, base designing, building farms, structures, exchanging hundreds to thousands of blocks a process that would take minutes up to a few hours.

Describe alternatives you've considered

The solution is simple:

  • Make all 4 gadgets or at least the 3 building ones craftable at a much earlier stage.

Look at this recipe for the Building gadget, it's simple, you can craft it somewhat early on and gives access to powerful quality of life tools that would make building way more enjoyable
it even makes sense with the materials.
