I was told that it's intentional.

How is this intentional? If we are supposed to be unable to create Basic Lithium Ion Batteries and the follow ups please remove the recipe and add a note on the block.

Let me correct that. The weird Basic Lithium Ion Battery has a weird crafting recipe, which is on purpose. I am reverting to the old recipe, and closing this issue. The old recipe works.
