Enigmatica 6 Java Edition (running from CurseForge - current version.
Noticed last night around 8pm PST that items would disappear when dropped (using Q key or dragged from inventory) on a private server hosted by a company. I saw this same issue as reported back in March. After restarting my computer, running a repair in curseforge and finally a server reboot it still occurs for me but not for my husband who WAS experiencing this same issue before server reboot. I am still experiencing it after server reboot. The moment the item leaves my inventory (even before hitting the ground) it disappears. Ex: I toss a piece of dirt into sky it disappears almost instantly.

First, Current Version isn't a version. Please let us know the exact version number of the pack.

Second, this honestly sounds like something is sucking up the items. For instance, a vacuum hopper or backpack with a magnet upgrade.

Can you reproduce this in single player? Or in another area? Does it only happen for your husband if he's near you? It could be something you're wearing.

Alright - Figured it out. Apparently my backpack gained a magnet upgrade on its own. I didn't think to check that as I didn't make it or put it there. I removed items, however did not store them off of my person. Mystery solved! Thank you for taking the time to answer, and for supplying those hints. Once I put the backpack in a chest - bam Items stopped disappearing. *facepalm*
