Obsidian Plates don't open doors on client, but open door on server

Describe the bug
When walking over an Obsidian Plate in front of an Iron Door, the door will not open and cannot be walked through. However, right clicking on the door to update the block from the server reveals the door is open. The door will not open or close at all.
Doors with Stone and Wooden Plates work perfectly fine.

Note: The door only opens because I am right clicking on it.
I found one Obsidian Plate that does work fine on a door, but the plate on the other side does not work. Here is a video showing all the broken plates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DWSE3omld4

yeh thats not right. probably should link that to the issue on Quarks tracker.
in the mean time if its a player only plate you want try the Gauges and Switches mod plates, they are configurable by entity types.
they have a little in world UI on the plates top right, use right clicks.
