Custom Generation Lava Gen Not working with andesite.

When a block of andesite placed it does not spawn andesite.

Did the issue happen in singleplayer or on a server?
Singleplayer
Can you show some screenshots of that? Last time I tested it was registering for the stone gen just fine.
JEI should also indicate it uses the stone generator, if that helps.

Probably not quite like that; you have a cobblestone generator there. Andesite is a type of stone, and needs a stone generator.
Bonus tip - try pondering Andesite (or any other type of stone) to get an overview of stone generators.

Then the Ponder for it should be changed because it shows Cobble gen for it and not stone gen.
Did you try clicking on the Right Arrow button ('d') above the ponder timeline? It should bring you to a different setup for the stone gen.
