The suggested range +12 addon for infinity tool recipes never works since it is missing the required nbt tags:

sure you can override the recipe with one that has nbt, but unlike tagged stuff like glass this recipe won't work at all.

Can't reproduce in dev. I crafted a range tier 12 upgrade, then used that to craft an infinity hammer without issue.

manual crafting works, but not if you create a pattern from jei and put it in an crafter pointing into a dissolution chamber.

Ah, ok. I see. So if you auto craft a range addon, it gets NBT. However the recipe for the hammer in JEI doesn't actually require the NBT. So if you make a recipe out of JEI for the hammer, it requests just the plain item without NBT and that's how it's encoded in RS.

Seems like there was another issue recently that was somewhat related with NBT mucking things up. Short term workaround will be to manually specify the range addon in the recipe when encoding it so that RS gets the NBT and can see the inputs/outputs as the same item.
