Cryptic Redstone Ore (BYG) drops itself when mined with silk touch, as opposed to dropping redstone chunks. It should drop a redstone chunk

On principle.

Also it'll make the AS Mineralis automation easier

Cryptic Redstone Ore isn't supposed to be available from anything iirc, how did you obtain it?

Astral Sorcery Mineralis Ritual will spawn BYG Cryptic Redstone ores. I can't recall if those are in stonecutter
