IE logic circuits not using up materials

Describe your issue.
After making 2 backplates and 8 wire, and putting them in the circuit table to make logic circuits, I found I could just keep pulling circuits out of the table without using any mats

I ended up with like 13 circuits from those 2 backplates

After a few minutes in-game, I tried again, and it started using up materials again.
