Cannot put network nodes into a pneumaticcraft security station

Describe your issue.
the station does not allow you to put in network nodes (either 16 or just 1)
trying to put them in does redraw the lines, but does not actually put your cursor stack there
also, when clicking around with the nodes & opening/closing the gui are almost guaranteed to freeze
