1.2.1 has same issue. There's no dock. So the tank is completely pointless to have since you can't take anything out, or put anything in, really.

Just to add some more specifics:

The "tank null" tanks don't seem to interact with any other fluid container, or at least none that were available at the time I could craft the first one (Mekanism basic tank, PNC small tank, tinker's fuel tank, Thermal Fuel cell), in either fill or empty mode, smart placing on or off. It can only collect from the world and output into the world, making it of limited utility at best since you have to dump it out into the world and bucket it manually into the container.

The point was to incentivize the use of backpacks and other storage methods over nulls in docks, but I agree they're kinda useless without the dock (especially the fluid one).

I'll re-implement them early game. The nulls themselves are deeply enough gated as they are.

at one point moto talked about enabling the tank null dock(early-ish) and also possibly the dank dock(this would be later in progression)... with how powerful backpacks with stack upgrades are rn i dont see much point in making either too very late anyway tho...
(bringing this up again now because it is being mentioned in our discord how useless the tank null is without the dock)
