Brutish Zombee Will Not Enter Or Acknowledge Hive

Describe your issue.
Brutish Zombees will not reliably enter hives (Beehive or Apiary, both were tested), despite being fully Calmed (Calming potions and the Beecon were both tested).
Specifically, they seem to not be able to learn or remember the position of their hive block. Even assigning a hive manually via Honey Dipper doesn't help - the Brutish Zombees' behavior is unchanged by doing so, and TheOneProbe still shows "Hive Pos: none". The bees just fly around aimlessly, and then after a random amount of time will start flying resolutely into a specific (southeast) upper corner of the Apiary structure / Beehive room, endlessly.
Sometimes manually picking up (via jar) and replacing these bees will convince them to enter the hive - sometimes even for multiple entrances in a row - but they will inevitably forget again, and will always wind up flying into that corner sometime afterward. I have tried layering additional solid blocks around the outside of that corner and around the outer side of the actual Apiary block(s) to see if that would affect their pathfinding, but it does not - they still try to fly straight into the corner for some reason.

This also happens for the Oreo bee. It leaves the hive with a hive position set, but it changes to 'none' as soon as he gets pollen.
I'm not sure if this is the way resourceful bees works but I couldn't get vanilla bees to work with an apiary as well. Same with the brutish zombees.
